Dario Coletti, publicist photographer, was born in Rome in 1959.
He is presently the Deputy Manager of the “Istituto Superiore di Fotografia” in Rome, where he is coordinating the annual Master in Photojournalism. His photographs are kept in national libraries and museums. He published some books on anthropological and social issues, such as: “Ispantos”, Ed. Soter,Villanova Monteleone SS,2006, “Cooperazione in Trentino Alto Adige”, Ed. Brennero Der Brenner, Trento,2003, “Gente di Miniera”, Ed.Poliedro, 1999, “Ammentos”, a catalogue on popular Sardinian festivities, 1997, “Gesti”, Ed. Sinnos,Rome,1996, “180 Basaglia”, Ed.Sinnos, Rome, 1996, “Terr’‘e miniera”, Ed. Igesias,1994. He displays in international galleries and museums, such as: Opera House in El Cairo, Mole Gallery in Tokyo, Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, Santa Chiara’s centre in Trento. At the present, he is collaborating with the Eliseo Theatre in Rome for the issue of collection posters, with Tiscali he is working on the publishing of thematic telephone cards, he is taking care of the artwork and photography of the musician Enzo Favata’s cd covers. For Medicins sans Frontière, Dario Coletti is realizing a photo reportage in Haiti. He is working for national and international newspapers. During the last few years he dedicated his time to the analysis of the language in the documentary field.
